A love letter to my body

I have only written a love letter once in my life!!!! This is second I am writing to my body

I am sorry I was treating you poorly for years. I am sorry for restricting you food and essential nutrients, putting toxins on and inside you while pretty much starving you out. I will treat you with healthy yummy foods, I will treat you with mindful yoga & exercise, I will treat you and my surroundings with chemical free products. I think all of you say that and forget the next day.

You all have time for your work, for everything but not for yourself so think about it and try to change yourself in a way you want. I made a promise to my body, that every day no matter how difficult it gets I will treat you with care and respect. I will tell you that I love you every morning .This world can get scary but you have always protected me from it. We are in this together, we have no choice but to fall in love and stay in love with each other. Being in love with you is my only option left.

I will change myself completely that when people look at me – they say I have really worked hard!!

I do meditation practice, breathing a lot, taking all my supplements on time and my protein powder @absolute nutrition and my coffee without which I can’t go as well as my daily workout and yoga flow. Obviously I do more than that on a daily basis but I cut out all of the fluff for your guys, while leaving all the highlights. I do read a lot.

Sometimes a new thought or a new idea is all you need to make a lasting change. You can wake up one day and decide to make your entire life change. If you are new to exercise or you dropped it for a while and you want to get back to doing it, the best way to begin is with small steps. Small changes in habits can lead to lasting, permanent change. So think baby steps and incorporate exercise into your life with these tips.

Take care of your body; it’s the only place you have to live

By reminding your body to get more movement throughout the day, you will be more likely to do it. So sit less and stand more. Take more steps and stairs. Stretch in your chair, squat to pick something up, park far away from stores so you will walk more, stand up when you talk on the phone and do some exercises while you watch TV. There are numerous ways you can sneak more movement into your day. Begin each day with a move more mindset and you will find them.

By committing to getting activity regularly. Schedule exercise like any appointment with a dentist or a doctor on your calendar and treat it as a commitment rather than something you squeeze in if you have time. Even if you can only allot 15 minutes at a time, schedule it. Take a short walk, do yoga, take a fitness class, aerobics and swim laps or sign up for dance classes. Whatever exercise you start, build up slowly so you don’t overwhelm yourself and give up.

Focus on health and strength and what it means to you, and not on numbers on a scale. Rather than an exclusive focus on weight loss, focus on the joys of exercise and movement instead. Someone “close to my heart” told me the best way to deal with your bad mood is taking the time to consider what really connects you to exercise on an emotional level, is powerful because you can use those thoughts to motivate you.

Exercise with a partner-Best workout when he kisses you while doing pushups and you looking at him, takes all you pain away.

Remind yourself daily of your why-Wake up thinking of what exercise you will do today and it becomes a priority.

Stretch post workouts- An effective exercise regimen involves cardio, strength training and stretching. Stretching after exercise can help relax and balance tension caused by the workout itself. Post-workout, when your body is warm is the ideal time to stretch. The risk of muscle injury is much lower, and you will save yourself from tight, sore muscles the following day. Plus, the calm, relaxing feeling of a good stretch is a great way to end a workout.

Finally coming to an end – to find my happiness within myself in order to finally be happy .Below I had list some of my quick tips how to step out of the darkness and into the light which I do:

  • Start practicing yoga or any form of fitness workout.
  • Start reading self-aid books (I will post some of my favorite books next week)
  • Try to sit still for at least 10 minutes a day either before going to bed or right after getting up. Easiest with headphones on listening to a guided meditation on the simple habit app or chant hanuman chalisa or think about someone who brings smile on your face.
  • Start looking at affirmations (like, I am good enough, I deserve to be happy)
  • Try to do at least one thing a day only for YOURSELF
  • Talk to people close to you about you wanting to change
  • Slowly eliminate toxic foods, drinks etc.
  • Try to think more positive thoughts
  • Write down 5 things you are grateful for today
  • Learn to say NO! (still a tough one for me too)
  • Keep in mind that good things take time!
  • and above all: BE GOOD TO YOURSELF

If you have any questions feel free to send me an email at [email protected] or comment below. I would love to hear from you!

And Be safe!
