DRESS ACCORDING TO PLACE (Formal wear)

One of my followers asked me to write a blog on formal wear. So I am writing this. I personally never loved to wear formal wear before. The main reason was that I felt that it will not look good on me. This I used to think 7 years back. Whenever I wear that I felt nervous, the main reason for that was I never loved myself. The day you start loving yourself, you will feel beautiful and will be full with bag of compliments.

Now I use to wear formals only most of the time and I love to see myself in that and feel confident enough. I wouldn’t say that it is only your dress that makes others take you seriously at work. But I do think that it is important to follow the dress code and to choose the right outfit, especially while meeting clients or holding team briefs and presentations. Clothes tell you a lot about a person, and the way you dress is important.

Your attire and the way you carry yourself helps get positive vibes from colleagues and 

Girls

Do wear …

  • Casual pants, including cropped pants
  • Skirts and dresses in more casual styles in an appropriate length
  • Button-up shirts, blouses or sweaters
  • Open-toed shoes, including dress sandals

Don’t wear …

  • T-shirts
  • Shorts

Boys

Do wear …

  • Button-up shirts
  • Casual pants (clean and neatly pressed)
  • Sweaters
  • clean leather shoes

Don’t wear …

  • T-shirts
  • sandals
  • Pants without a belt
  • Untucked shirts

Formals have always been in fashion and will remain in fashion for the benefits they possess.

Moreover it is time saving. You don’t waste time deciding what to wear daily. Just have to keep two different colored trousers (Black and grey), some shirts etc.
